Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the official notification for UP TET Recruitment 2026 Notification Out. Candidates with Bachelor's/Master's Degree + D.El.Ed/B.Ed qualification are eligible to apply. The online application starts from 27 Mar 2026 and the last date to apply is 26 Apr 2026. The examination is scheduled on 03 Jul 2026.

Exam Pattern & New Changes
- •The exam remains an offline, OMR-based test. Each paper consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be completed in 150 minutes.
- •No Negative Marking: There is no penalty for wrong answers.
- •EWS Reservation: For the first time, EWS candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks (qualifying at 55% instead of 60%).
- •Live Photo Verification: To prevent fraud, candidates are now required to upload a live photo (via selfie or QR scan) during the application process.
- •Twin Sibling Rule: If you have a twin sibling also appearing for the exam, you must disclose their details to prevent impersonation.
Qualifying Marks
- •General/OBC/EWS: 60% (90/150 marks) — Note: EWS now gets a 5% relaxation in some criteria.
- •SC/ST/PH: 55% (82/150 marks)
How to Apply UP TET Online Form 2026?
- •The application for online registration will be hosted on the UP TET website from 27/03/2026.
- •Applications will be received online only.
- •Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
- •E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
- •The last date for submitting online application 26/04/2026.
